Following the unexpected downtime that the forum experienced on the morning of Tuesday September 1st 2009, we are now back online and running with the latest back-up of the forum that we have. Sadly this was done at around 0:20am BST on August 30th 2009. All new posts and members have been lost beyond this date.

If your membership no longer works due to you registering on the forum after August 29th 2009, you will need to re-register once again. To my knowledge, this only affects 2 new members of the forum.

We would like to say a big thank you to all members for been patient and bearing with us during these difficult times, whilst we got the forum back up and running again. It is nice to see that the forum is already a hive of activity as it usually is, and it seems to have made quite a few people think of the forum as a necessity, to keep informed, as we have had plenty of reports saying that people are lost without it and now they have experienced life without the forum, they don't want to do this again. This actually makes us feel very proud of the forum on the whole and just goes to show that our hard work over the last3 years has actually paid off remarkably well.

Thankfully, weekly automatic back-ups take place of the forum in case of events such as this and we can only take precautions in the future to try and avoid this sort of thing happening once again.

We are still investigating the route cause of this outage, though this will be an internal investigation between the 4 staff members (Admin, Captainsharpe1, Dougie and Tango2) only.
